Sourced cases on both sides, with a clear lean and the primary invalidation.
Sourced bull and bear cases, key levels, and the primary invalidation. The briefing states where the evidence leans. It does not recommend an action. The same briefing is available whether you record first or open it directly.
- →Bull and bear cases, each claim tagged to a source
- →Key levels and the primary invalidation
- →An explicit lean on the evidence, not a trade call
- →Identical on both paths; nothing is withheld
Despite near-term profit-taking, the 4H bullish trend with higher highs, oversold stochastic, and strong COT bullish positioning support a bounce. Key support at 4357 holds, and China buying plus ETF inflows underpin. CPI risk is the main uncertainty.
Gold faces near-term downside as momentum weakens (RSI 34.6, MACD negative) and price stalls below EMA20, with profit-taking and firm USD pressuring. H1 lower high signals fading bullish momentum despite 4H uptrend.

The briefing is identical on both paths. Your chart work, patterns and thesis stay yours. Recording keeps the original beside the outcome; not recording leaves no declaration for that briefing.
- →Nothing is withheld on either path
- →Your chart work and thesis remain yours
- →Recording keeps the original beside the outcome
Optional. Direction and an invalidation type. The rest is available if you want it.
The Airlock is optional. Choose it when you want to record before the analysis. By default you select a direction and an invalidation type. Three choices: strict level, mental stop, or not defined. Entry posture and planned size are available if you want the fuller commitment. Whatever you record is timestamped and kept as first written.
- →Optional: use it only on the record-first path
- →Default: direction and invalidation type
- →Fuller commitment available: entry posture and planned size
- →Sealed as first written; amendments sit beside the original
The original is kept. Amendments sit beside it.
What you declared is preserved as first written and is never overwritten. You can amend it; every change is stored alongside the original. The first amendment is free. From the second through the fourth a reason is required. A fifth amendment on the same chain is not accepted; a new declaration is required. Your own rules are checked at commit. Collisions are named; you decide whether to proceed, revise or override, and an override is logged with a reason.
- →Original declaration never overwritten
- →First amendment free; reason required from the second
- →Fifth amendment refused; start a new declaration
- →Rulebook collisions named at commit; overrides logged
Every read has to close. Including the no trades.
Played out. Invalidated. Skipped with a reason. Every Airlock you submit has to be resolved before you open a new one on the same asset. The system gates a new briefing on an asset while that asset's last loop is unresolved. You cannot open a fresh read on an asset while yesterday's trade on it is still hanging, unlabeled.
This is also where your record starts to form. Each closed loop adds a row to your record. What you said you'd do. What you actually did. What the market did. Three columns, lined up. Over time the columns tell a story your memory can't.
- →Played out, invalidated, or skipped, all require a logged reason
- →Unresolved loops block new activity
- →Closed loops feed your record

Your record becomes a mirror of how you actually trade.
The more decisions you commit and resolve, the more of your own patterns the record can surface.
Every committed decision adds to the record. Every Airlock, every override, every no trade, every closed loop is a row of data about you specifically. Not the market. Not traders in general. You.
As you commit and resolve more, the record shows you things your memory can't: your honored-invalidation win rate, your override expectancy by rule (Rule 4 versus Rule 7), and what standing aside preserved.
This is the part that makes the work worth it. Declarations are recorded at the point of commitment. A plan committed before execution can be compared to what followed. What you end up with is something no journal gives you: a record of how you actually behaved, committed decision by committed decision.
- →Invalidation respected rate, last 20 trades
- →Override frequency by rule, with outcome attribution
- →No trade decisions completed and how they would have played out
- →Plan to execution alignment, trade by trade

Illustrative system record. Not actual user data.
No streaks. No badges.
No fire emojis next to your trades.
Most apps reward you for opening them. Trading is one of the few activities where the correct answer is sometimes no trade, no chart, no app. Rewarding daily usage on a tool like this would make it actively dangerous.
What we track instead is process. Did you honor your invalidation. Did you log your overrides honestly. Did you complete your no trade decisions. As you resolve more, those numbers build into a record of how you actually behave under pressure. That record is the product. Not points. Not levels.
The fastest way to bleed an edge
is to keep changing it after entry.
The edge is real on the chart and gone by the time the trade closes, because the trade you exited was not the trade you entered. The stop got moved. The size got doubled. The thesis got rewritten in your head somewhere between the second and the third candle.
RiskFloor does not enforce discipline. You declared the trade. The record shows what was declared and every change after. From the second amendment a reason is required. A fifth amendment on the same chain is not accepted; a new declaration is required. Same thing professional traders do for themselves with rules and limits.
Log your assessment. Once complete, you can safely explore the deeper evidence layers without hindsight bias altering your read.
HIGH-RISK RULE CONFLICT
Anticipating setups without a hard invalidation point is a high-risk behavior.
Rule Collision
Always wait for confirmation
Declared anticipation entry conflicts with active commitment requiring confirmation before acting.

Is this a journal? How is it different from a trading journal?
+A journal records what happened. RiskFloor structures what you decide before it happens, so you can weigh the trade against your original reasoning after. The key difference is timing. A journal is retrospective. You log a trade after it is done. RiskFloor is prospective. You commit your thesis, your invalidation, and your entry logic before the evidence shapes your view. The journal entry exists because RiskFloor already captured your reasoning.
Do I need to switch brokers or connect my account?
+No. RiskFloor has no broker integration and requires no API keys or account connection. Your broker handles execution on screen one. RiskFloor runs on screen two. Your capital stays entirely with your broker.
Does it interrupt every trade I make?
+No. RiskFloor operates at the analysis and decision stage, not at the execution layer. You run a briefing when you want to structure a setup. The Airlock takes under two minutes. If you are not running a briefing, RiskFloor is not in your way.
Is this built for day traders or swing traders?
+Both. The briefing window is currently 24 hours, which covers setups from intraday to multi-day holds. The Rulebook, the Airlock, and the Review work for any discretionary trader who makes thesis-driven decisions. If you plan a setup and execute against a thesis, RiskFloor is built for your workflow.
How much setup does it take to start?
+Your first session runs in under ten minutes. We ask for three to five rules during onboarding so the Rulebook is not empty when you take your first trade. After that, you select an asset, do your read, and submit your Airlock. The system returns a Commitment Record with rule check and risk context. From there the briefing opens.
Do I need to bring my own rules, or do you give me a starter set?
+You bring your own. We ask for three to five rules during onboarding and you can refine them anytime.
Is this manual or does it automate anything?
+RiskFloor is a pre-trade briefing, not an automation tool. The briefing analysis is generated automatically from live market data. Everything else (your thesis, your entry, your outcome) is logged manually by you. The product never acts on your behalf. It structures your thinking and holds your record.
What markets and instruments does it support?
+Currently Forex, Crypto, and Metals. Additional asset classes are on the roadmap.
What does the system actually predict?
+Nothing. It does not predict the market. It argues both sides of the evidence with a source behind each claim and states which way that evidence leans, and as you commit and resolve more, it reflects your own patterns back. Where you tend to override. Where your stops get moved. Which setups you should probably skip.
Does the record get more complete as I trade?
+Yes. As you commit and resolve more, more of the record becomes available and its estimates get more precise. Override expectancy by rule, rule adherence, and personal pattern detection each firm up as you resolve more trades. It does not get smarter and your numbers do not rise. The record covers more of your decisions.
